Reviews for Quadratec Adventure Mirrors for 76-26 Jeep Wrangler JL, JK, TJ, YJ, CJ & Gladiator JT
They look cool and go on easy. But, they are worthless if you go over 50 mph. The wind blows them in and you can’t see. Even going under 50, I had a dump truck pass me going the other way and it blowed my driver side mirror right in. If you’re gonna do any highway driving, I recommend springing for a more expensive set.
Great for the price but they do shake when driving and anything over about 35-40 they have a rather annoying whistle. Will be modding to fix the whistle, the shaking is tolerable since the alternative is not having mirrors and I didn't want ones that mount to the body permanently.
Very easy install, but vibration is very bad and makes it difficult to focus on things behind you. Does vibrate off location after several miles at highway speed. You get what you pay for, would not recommend for everyday driving.
Good product. They shake a lot but do the job!
The price is right, but the hardware isn't the best quality; find myself constantly readjusting, because you don't want to over-tighten the hardware.
I had these on my TJ and loved them. Only suggestion is to protect the paint around the hinge when you install and uninstall them. Maybe wrap your wrench in electrical tape and put some on the fender too?
Unless you really crank them down, they fold like a dog's ears on the road.
Works as advertised. Once you get them snugged up enough they hold well. Vibrate a bit so you won't get perfect views, but they will keep you from getting a ticket.
Meh, they work if you have to have mirrors.
They rattle a bit in high speeds and take a little time to put on and take off each time but for what I paid, they work.
