Reviews for Quadratec Adventure Mirrors for 76-25 Jeep Wrangler JL, JK, TJ, YJ, CJ & Gladiator JT
Haven't quite figured out how to resolve it yet, but these have a hard time staying in place using the supplied hardware and instructions. May need a bit more umph; but they seem to be fine.
These mirrors are great for meeting the regulations, they whistle in the wind at moderate and high speeds and vibrate a lot. These are a low cost alternative to getting a ticket with the doors off if your state requires side mirrors.
They serve their purpose. But I had about 35 mph they start to vibrate pretty good.
As advertised. The whistle from the air while driving. It’s annoying. The hardware is metric which drives me nuts.
The price is ok and they do the job to make you legal but the ghosting is so bad they aren’t totally usable. Also generate a whistle while driving. I spent a little more on a different brand that is more convenient and has none of the ghosting or whistling.
They will do in a pinch but when you get on the highway they just fold in. Great for around town though.
92YJ. They are ok. Good enough to be legal and compliant reasonable price and check the box of needing side mirrors.
Wish they didn’t squeak when driving down road but they fit perfect and work out great for when doors are off.
It is what it is, but the reason for the three stars is because with a little extra effort they could have made these much better. Add a thicker washer so it doesn’t warp when you tighten it down. Because you can’t tighten it all the way they move at higher speeds, but all I wanted was to have mirrors so I didn’t have issues and be pulled over. Works for the purpose.
These mirrors get the job done. That being said, they do have a tendency to fold back in once you go above 45-55 MPH. They do tend to vibrate a bit at speed but that doesn't bother me as much as long as I can see what's behind me...Overall, a decent buy, but a little on the pricey side for what you get in my opinion.
