Reviews for Quadratec Adventure Mirrors for 76-25 Jeep Wrangler JL, JK, TJ, YJ, CJ & Gladiator JT
These vibrate really badly when driving or even sitting at a light. You really have to tighten them down or they'll fold in at speed. They're probably more useful to keep you from getting a ticket in a state that requires them when your doors are off than they are as actual safety/situation awareness equipment.
Real easy to install and great if you are just driving in town or some wheeling, but at highway speeds of 70mph they do blow in. I had to crank the nut down to the point the washers bent, but still would blow in at highway speeds.
Pros: Somewhat easy to attach, one piece, adjusts easily, works nicely, looks good.
Cons: Whistles like a teapot above 40 mph. Also the washers can be a bit clumsy since there's 4 per mirror, 2 above and 2 below the hinge. That plus the nut means I have to catch 3 things when I take the mirror off on each side.
They do the job, however at speeds above 15 miles an hour they rotate in. Great for staying legal, but not usable. I'll be looking to upgrade to something different.
Work OK
Great for install during the summer. However, nut on the bottom stops it from being a quick install. Going down the highway that will move a lot.
Vibrate quite a bit and don't hold there position at higher speed.
Is what it is. Not real useful. Very “bouncy”. I’d recommend the relocation bracket over these.
They are ok, they serve the purpose but vibrate pretty bad after about 40 mph. Ended up adding web support after placement was determined.
The window are nice and do vibrate very much. The only issue I have is they tend to blow in at normal driving speeds. They have machined in knurling to prevent this but it does not work well. I have to use a tool to get a little more tightness out of the knob. Otherwise they do the job.
