Not a bad product but very difficult to get aligned right and they whistle bad. Great deal for the money but I am ordering the $350 Quadratec mirror movers to replace it. Some things are worth the extra money.

Like many other reviews said these won't stay in place when tightened by hand. The knurling on the brackets is not deep enough. You can tighten with a strap wrench to get them to stay put without marking up the knobs with pliers. They also whistle. It comes from the two ridges on the outside edge rubber trim. Cover that with electrical tape and they are silent. It's a temporary fix though. These could be 5 stars if the manufacturer would fix the tightening issue and use different rubber trim.
good quality, easy to install, but that whistling noise is terrible! if i can't remedy it, i'll have to go with some other mirrors. might try some silicone in the groove around the outside, see if that takes care of it.
Easy install, look great, and good price. However, that HORRIBLE , high pitched whistling noise is driving me crazy!!! Will force me to deduct 1.5 stars! Does someone, ANYONE have a legitimate, bonafide, fix for this???
Mirrors look great and they were super easy to install. I mounted mine to the lower 2 bolts of the windshield bracket. My only complaint is that these whistle at speeds 30mph+. If any one has any tips to get these not to whistle please let me know. If it wasn’t for the whistling these would get 5 stars.
Keeping in mind that these are cheap mirrors that are a fraction of the cost of factory mirrors, for the price they are pretty good. For the price, you can't expect too much. They are solidly built, super easy to install and there is no problem at all with the mirrors folding in at higher speeds. Driving 80 mph into a 20 mph headwind and they didn't budge. However, one thing I haven't read in any other reviews is that because of the open back design, the mirrors produce a high pitch whistle over 30/35mph that gets louder the faster you go.
You get what you pay for. There is some road vibration that carries up to these so you might want to put a rubber spacer inbetween them and your body (the foam is good for preventing scratches, not vibration damping). You can see both mirrors fine but they are not convex so they will seem too 'zoomed in'. I've gotten them to be tight enough so they don't fold in while driving; I replaced the screw with an allen head fastener so I wouldn't need to wrench on it with my bare hands. I honestly don't use them with my doors off (I use my neck), but these will keep you street legal. Also you can keep the base bolted to the body when you're not using them.
The mirrors look very good on the jeep but had to use a pair of pliers to tighten the quick disconnect screw down. Was unable to tighten it down by hand to keep it from spinning around out of position.
