Works great and easy to install helps protect your engine and keeps hood from flexing while driving in heavy winds. Highly recommend.

Works very well, install was easy. I used aircraft grade screws and nuts. Did not use the rivets. Keep a spare (door key only) under the seat. It would be nice to be able to remove the key in the Unlock position, hence, the spare key

Worked great on my JK.

Had to buy a 1/4" rivet tool from Harbor Freight, but this was otherwise a simple install and increases security.

Good lock and my mechanics are always impressed that I have a locking mechanism for the hood.

Super glad I bought this. Programming the key is super simple, install is super easy with basic hand tools and a rivet tool. Only issue I had was with my hood sitting low enough. I found having JL hood latches on a JK hood without drilling out the holes on JK latch holes makes the hood sit a few mm to high for the hood secondary latch to catch. Adjusted my JL latches so the the hood sits closer to the body and the secondary latch sat perfectly in line with the hood lock latch. Besides that worth every penny.
