First one that I received had a problem with coding the key lock. Quadratec was great about quickly shipping a new one out to me while providing me with a return slip for the defective one.

The second one I received worked perfectly with regard to the lock coding to my ignition key. The install was very straightforward, even for somebody as mechanically disinclined as me. It's still early but I have confidence now in the security of my hood

A welcome addition and adds peace of mind knowing thieves cannot get under the hood. Like the feature that allows original key to work.

Works great on my 2018 Wrangler Golden Eagle. Even with the factory grill inserts. Very easy to install. I love that the key is programmable, so you can use your ignition key. Unlike some others, you have to have a locksmith or dealer key it for you. You can also take the key out when you unlock it.

Hood lock works great is was easy to install. I bought a rivet tool and installation was quick. I did have a problem keying the lock originally, but that was user error. If you take your time and follow the directions, you should have no problem. I chatted with customer service and they emailed me a return label and sent out a new hood lock right away. I love not having an extra key to carry around. It will probably not fix hood flutter, but at least it will be secure.

This is great investment for any Jeep enthusiast who requires added security. The instructions were straight-forward and all contained the rivets, and grill pushpins. A MUST HAVE!!!

Won’t keep a thief out, but it will take them a bit longer. Also eliminates hood flutter. Like that it keys to the Jeeps key.

Fits nicely in the grill area. I installed a screen to protect the radiator and the rubber lock cover would not fit. The lock is fine, but without the cover. Keeping it lubed will make it last.

Installed one on both my JKUs in 10 minutes, easy install once you find a rivet gun big enough to handle the included rivets. Harbor freight of course. Best part is they work !

Bought the requisite riveter. From Harbor freight, everything was as described.
