Solid product that definitely adds security to your JK. I feel confident that this will deter most would-be thieves, and would take serious effort (and probably damage to other components) to circumvent or remove it. Other reviews stated that they substituted the 1/4" rivets for screws due to not having a large enough rivet gun (it will require a HD rivet gun), I did install it using the (4) 1/4" rivets and it is rock solid and effective, exactly as advertised. Install was straight forward and everything lined up perfectly. I feel fully confident that I can add an under hood air compressor or other accessories without worry. An added plus is that Bolt makes the OEM MOPAR hood lock, so this isn't a cheap knock-off. Solid, simple and effective product that is worth the $.

Easy install and I am female @ 5ft tall. Bought Atlas 1426 Rivet tool, adjusted collet (clockwise), and good-to-go! Secure and heavy duty. Gives me peace of mind when parked at trail head for backpacking trips.

Easy and quick install, keying the lock to my ignition key only took a second to do and it is great not having to carry an extra key. The lock is extremely solid, you will not be disappointed. A very nice touch is they include new pin lock to put the grill back on, so you don't have to worry if you mess one up during the removal.

Easy installation and I don't have to worry about someone stealing my battery. Keys to your ignition key, so you don't have more keys to worry about.

I love it!!! Now my Jeep safe inside hood. I hate peoples open my hood on night time. I saw my own camera front in my house. Finally is safe now. I will give to five star.
