I really like my recently purchased hood lock. It was quick and easy to install, provided you have all the proper tools for installation. I'm all about vehicle security these days and this simple concept hood lock really helps achieve that goal. The vehicles ignition key to unlock the hood lock is genius. This is a must have for Jeep owners.

Absolutely love this lock. Keeps the hood from vibrating on the highway as well as secures the engine compartment. I really like that there is no special key. You use your ignition key.

Works great. Uses 1/4" rivets though, which is larger than normal. I didn't want to have 2 rivet guns (that never get used) so I bent a wrench to get inside the rail and mounted it with hardware.

Works like it should. Install was a breeze with a rivet tool. Small price to pay for piece of mind.

This lock has been installed for about a year now and it works and looks like day one. The installation was easy. More time was spent modifying the grill insert than installing the actual product. I bought a cheap heavy duty rivet tool and used the rivets included in the set. Keying the lock to my key was quick and the lock works without issue every time. The protective weather cap is functional and does not fall off. This is on par with OEM quality.
