Quadratec's Maximum Duty 8.0 Nitro shock absorbers are recommended for moderate to extreme off road use and provide a firmer ride over stock shocks. The internal components instantly respond to any change in driving conditions and the 150 psi high pressure nitrogen gas shocks are our fastest responding shocks. The true velocity sensitive valving produces a stable and controlled level of resistance for improved handling and stability while maximizing ride comfort. Our Nitro 8.0 shocks deliver a noticeable advantage over the original equipment while keeping the tires in contact with the terrain putting you in control of the road ahead.

My orginal Rubicon Hard Rock shocks lasted a long while. I did not even realize how bad they were until my mechanic replaced them with these.
My jeep is tracking correctly and the usual "Wandering Wrangler" is much better at staying on track.
For some reason, the Jeep appears to be a bit taller, and mine is not lifted.
The ride is stable, and confidence producing while driving at speed.

Interested in your stock Hydro Shocks fro my stock JK 2dr. If I end up putting a replacement front bumper and winch on it , then a 1.5-2 inch front leveling kit wil these shocks still work
No. Stock model are correct from 0" to 1". Running 1.75 or 2" will call for the next longer application. Thanks for your inquiry.

All of my driving is on road. Would these shocks be overkill and too stiff for my 2011 Unlimited Sport with no lift?
A Hydro shock would be engineered more for the type of driving it sounds like you may be doing if predominantly on road and with stock ride height. A Nitro will have firmer quicker rebound for added road feel but it can be a little more jarring than a Hydro shocks reaction to varying road conditions. Thanks for your inquiry.
