Four wheel drive. Four doors on one of its most popular models. And now another four for the legendary Jeep brand.
Four straight years of record sales.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) announced Wednesday that it's Jeep brand has already surpassed last years record of 1,017,019 vehicles sold, giving FCA another year of domination in the ultra-competitive SUV market.
Sales of the iconic vehicles were up 24 percent in the US and 22 percent globally headed into November, said FCA's Jeep Division head Mike Manley. Cherokee, Grand Cherokee, and Wrangler again lead the way so far in total sales.
These sales figures are certainly great news for FCA as it preps for the Jeep brand's 75th anniversary in 2016, and this milestone - along with impending updates to many vehicles under its tentpole - absolutely positions FCA for yet another spectacular year.
Can you say five-peat?
