Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) recently unveiled plans to redouble efforts to turn its Jeep division into a global franchise, according to a Wall Street Journal October 27th article. With the Jeep brand tripling in sales for FCA in 2014, now accounting for nearly half of the company's operating profit, it certainly makes sense to widen the horizon. “Jeep is Fiat Chrysler’s golden child,” said Larry Dominique, executive vice president of industry insights for TrueCar, in the WSJ piece.
