We've all heard the term 'mom mobile' in reference to that run-of-the-mill type of vehicle a mom is expected to drive. Something practical and predictable that easily fits kids and makes it simple to carry all the toys and gear that goes along with having little ones. Well, despite the term used for it, there aren't actually a whole lot of women out there this Mother's Day (or really any other day) embracing their expected vehicular fate after they become mothers. Instead, many are opting for something that reflects the balance of versatility and strength that define modern moms — the Jeep Wrangler.

Keys to Adventure

Over the past few years, there has been an unprecedented rise in outdoor hobbies and activities for families. Adventure vehicles capable of helping facilitate outdoor hobbies and lifestyles are more popular than ever, and what better to take on an adventure with your kiddos than something that can carry you further than pretty much anything else? Jeep Wranglers have long been known as the most capable off-road vehicle around. Even a stock Jeep easily tackles trails and terrain that baffle most other rides. This makes it an easy choice for moms who want a reliable adventure vehicle.

“I love Jeeping with my son as it brings us closer and allows us to go on an outdoor activity easily rain or shine! We pack a picnic and then go to a park to admire the beautiful landscape that a ‘’normal’’ soccer vehicle wouldn’t allow us to see! Hopefully, he follows my footsteps and becomes an adventurer like his mom.” - Marie (aka Jeeping.in.teal)

Easy Clean Up

How many vehicles do you know where you can simply take a hose and wash it out after a particularly dirty adventure? Jeeps were quite literally designed for battlefield use. So they are well-equipped to handle any mess your kids can (and will) create. Whether that means a team of sweaty, muddy soccer players, a car-sick toddler, or a particularly sandy beach day. All you have to do is pull the drain plugs, wash it all down and you're good to go. Add in modifications like Ultimate Floor Liners or Armorlite Replacement Flooring instead of carpet, and it's even easier.

Make It Your Own

One of the clichés of a 'mom mobile' is they all are similar or look exactly the same. This will never happen to you as a mom with a Jeep. Regardless of what model or year you own, there are plenty of aftermarket products available that allow you to customize nearly anything your heart desires on the vehicle. There are endless possibilities of modifications you can make — whether equipping a better suspension or lift to suit the level of offroading you enjoy, or simply changing the accessory colors. You'll always have endless options for self-expression, allowing you to make that Jeep your own.

“I had the traditional 'mom car' for many years. When my oldest girls were grown I decided it was my turn for a fun car and I finally got my Jeep! Our two youngest both came back to us (they were our foster children before we adopted them) and I realized car seats fit just fine in the back of a Jeep! The rest is history! We go everywhere in my Jeep and the kids love getting out on the trail! Playing in the dirt, climbing rocks, seeing beautiful places! It’s the best life!” - Julie (aka @AquaJeepGirl)

The Jeep Community

Whether you like it or not, the second you purchase a Jeep, you're immediately welcomed into an international community of crazy, amazing, supportive people like no other. Being a part of the Jeep family means you're going to get to meet people who come from all walks of life simply because they are all brought together by the same love of the lifestyle owning a Jeep provides. If you are a mom who loves adventures, the outdoors and activities that build a connection with your kids, having an entire community of other parents like you is an invaluable gift.

“Being on the trails with my son is always a good time. Seeing the wonderful relationships he has formed with fellow Jeep enthusiasts is priceless. Who knew that buying our Jeeps would enhance our family’s lives as much as it has.” - Deona Knight (@DeonaKnight and @AdventuresbyKnight)
