They’re Back: Quadratec’s CJ Retro Alloy Wheels Return to Inventory
Jeepers waiting patiently, your moment has come. The much-anticipated Quadratec CJ Retro Alloy Wheels, a modern tribute to classic CJ steelies, are back in stock for JK, JL and Gladiator fitments. These wheels combine retro aesthetics with modern engineering, and have been one of our most popular wheels over the past few years.
Originally inspired by the factory wheels on Renegade and Laredo CJs of the ’70s and ’80s, these wheels bring that heritage look into the modern era with a pressure-cast aluminum body, raised machined pinstripe, and removable center-cap design. The 17″ × 8.5″ version for Wranglers and Gladiators features 5.2″ backspacing, is hub-centric, and saves roughly one-third the weight of comparable steel wheels.
If you missed your chance before, now’s your time to flush out your build with a classic look that meets today’s performance standards. Quadratec’s CJ Retro Wheels give that nod to Jeep heritage and hold up on the trail.
Jeep Packs Holiday Cheer for U.S. Troops
This holiday season, Jeep is doing more than building adventure-ready vehicles — it’s building connections for those serving far from home. On September 18, more than 300 Jeep brand employees and volunteers with Stellantis’ Motor Citizens program teamed up with the USO to assemble nearly 10,000 care packages at Stellantis North America headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Each package includes everyday essentials like toiletries, snacks, and hydration powder, along with festive touches like holiday socks and USB-powered twinkle lights. They’ll be shipped overseas to U.S. service members stationed in over 70 countries, offering a welcome reminder of home during the holidays.
Jeep CEO Bob Broderdorf highlighted the effort as a continuation of the brand’s roots: “Jeep was the original freedom machine, dating back to World War II. Our legacy is built on freedom and adventure, and supporting U.S. service members is a powerful way to thank those who sacrifice so much.”
The Jeep brand has partnered with the USO since 2008, supporting everything from gaming initiatives to vehicle donations and now large-scale care package drives. For the USO, these collaborations ensure troops remain connected to family, home, and country — even when they’re thousands of miles away.
As Ben Leslie, USO Chief Development Officer, put it: “Jeep’s consistent, life-changing contributions inspire us. We’re humbled and grateful for their continued partnership.”
For Jeep owners, it’s one more reminder that the brand’s connection to service didn’t end in 1945. It’s alive today in every care package sent to those protecting the freedoms Jeep has always represented.
