Today we headed back to Wipeout Hill, though this time we brought our work gloves. We met up with Tread Lightly and the Bureau of Land Management again this year as part of the Restoration for Recreation project. This years goal was to install buck and rail fencing to help keep vehicles on the designated trail and off the vegetation surrounding the scenic overlook. We had over double the volunteers from last year, with over 50 people showing up to help. Those included volunteers from Discount Tire as well as dedicated Jeep enthusiasts who were willing to give up a day of wheeling, to lend a hand for a project with a great cause. Of course we did a little wheeling on the way there, and the way back! Who could resist a trip down Wipeout Hill!
