Join Rob out on the legendary Fins ‘n Things trail in Moab, Utah as he gets up close with one of the wildest builds from the 60th Easter Jeep Safari — the Jeep Wrangler Buzzcut Concept.
This Mopar-built concept takes the traditional Wrangler formula and flips it on its head, transforming it into a compact, two-seat adventure rig focused on capability, storage, and aggressive styling. With its radically chopped roofline, fastback profile, and 37-inch tires, the Buzzcut stands out as one of the most unique concepts of the entire lineup.
In this video, Rob walks you through the Buzzcut from every angle and shares his first impressions after driving it in person on the trail. One of his favorite features? The custom fastback hardtop — complete with a roof rail that runs down the rear and integrates a functional grab handle for easier access to the roof rack system. It’s a small detail that perfectly blends form and function.
Inside, the build continues to impress with custom re-upholstered performance seats sourced from a Dodge Charger Scat Pack, giving the interior a premium, sporty feel that matches the Jeep’s aggressive personality. And of course, the biggest talking point — the 2-inch roof chop — completely transforms the proportions, giving the Buzzcut a low, squat stance that looks right at home crawling Moab’s slickrock.
Beyond the styling, this concept is built to perform. With a turbocharged 2.0L engine, lift kit, steel bumpers, and a fully reworked cargo area designed for extended adventures, it’s a serious off-road machine disguised as a design experiment.
Is this just a wild concept, or a glimpse into the future of Jeep design — should Jeep build this?
